FTA issued Special Directive 22-20 to require the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to submit documentation within 60 days regarding whether and how the transit agency has assessed transit worker assault safety risk in their transit system, and whether and how the transit agency is mitigating and monitoring transit worker assault safety risk.
