Safety Management Inspection
FTA released its Safety Management Inspection report of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and its State Safety Oversight Agency, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). FTA conducted the Safety Management Inspection from August 10, 2023 through January 31, 2024. The report includes findings and required actions to improve SEPTA’s safety posture and further strengthen PennDOT’s State Safety Oversight program.
