FTA-Sponsored Training Courses

This page provides information on FTA-sponsored training delivered by the Transportation Safety Institute as of December 20, 2021.

In light of the extraordinary operational challenges presented by the COVID-19 public health emergency, FTA has issued a Notice of Enforcement Discretion stating that FTA will refrain from taking enforcement action pursuant to 49 U.S.C. § 5329(g) and the FTA Master Agreement (26) (October 1, 2019) until August 21, 2022, against any FTA recipient subject to the PTSCTP regulation that is unable to certify that it has met the requirements of the regulation. Notwithstanding the Notice’s exercise of enforcement discretion, FTA encourages affected recipients, and individuals designated under the program, to continue to work toward meeting PTSCTP requirements to the extent practical under the current circumstances caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Compliance with these regulations is required by Monday, February 7, 2022. Please submit questions to TPR@dot.gov and visit tpr.fmcsa.dot.gov for more information.
