Accident Notification and Investigations

This presentation outlines rail transit agencies accident notification based on the two-hour notification requirement, that must include time limits for notification, methods of notification, and the nature of the information provided. Additionally, this presentation will transition into the phase after notification and outline if that notification may require an investigation and how to ensure the sufficiency and thoroughness of the investigation for formal adoption and possible corrective actions, based on causation.
