Safety and Transit Asset Management Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Webcast

On November 18, 2013, FTA Administrator Peter Rogoff hosted a Webcast to discuss the on the Safety and Transit Asset Management (TAM) Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM). Thomas Littleton, Associate Administrator for the new Office of Transit Safety and Oversight (TSO) and Bob Tuccillo, Associate Administrator for Budget and Policy, provided further details on the proposed rulemaking. Please direct your formal questions and comments on the ANPRM to the docket. The comment period closes on January 2, 2014.

MAP-21 Safety Webinar

On February 28, 2013, FTA Administrator Peter Rogoff hosted a Webinar to discuss the safety provisions of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).  Vincent Valdes, Acting Associate Administrator for the Federal Transit Administration's new Office of Transit Safety and Oversight (TSO), provided further details on the program and the progress that TSO is making to implement MAP-21.
