TAM Plan Template for Small Providers

Please note that as of February 2020 this template has been superseded by the TAMPLATE, a tool designed to assist Tier I and Tier II transit providers and Group TAM Plan Sponsors in developing their TAM Plans.

Version 2.2 of the transit asset management (TAM) plan template builds upon improvements to V2.1 of the plan. This version still offers the basic versus comprehensive option and is applicable for group TAM plan sponsors and small transit providers alike. An example plan is provided to help agencies understand what a completed template might look like.

Note to users: This database has been digitally signed for security. This will not harm your computer. If you receive a "potential security concern" notice, you can bypass by clicking "open," then saving the database to a local drive.

Please be aware that FTA does not provide on-going technical support for this tool. However the National Transit Institute’s (NTI) webinar on the TAM Plan Template for Small Providers, which is included as a related link at the top of this page, does provide some key insight to the working of the excel document. In addition, we are hoping to collect success stories on use of the template and share them via the Peer Library. If you are willing to share your template-enabled TAM plan, please let us know.
