Nassau County proposes to implement a bus rapid transit (BRT) service in Nassau County. The Nassau Hub BRT Project (the Project) is a proposed six-mile BRT route between the Rosa Parks-Hempstead Transit Center in the Village of Hempstead, NY, and the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Main Line station in the Village of Westbury. The BRT is planned to operate in a mix of dedicated guideway and mixed traffic, with transit signal priority implemented at intersections along the route.
