The City of Raleigh proposes to implement a bus rapid transit (BRT) line between downtown Raleigh and the Town of Cary, running east-west primarily along Western Boulevard. The project includes 18 new stations and three existing stations, 6.6 miles of exclusive bus lanes, the purchase of 10 vehicles, transit signal prioritization, off-board fare payment, and level vehicle boarding.
