The City of Madison (the City) proposes to implement bus rapid transit (BRT) service along a 13- to 17-mile corridor running from northern Madison, through downtown and southern Madison, to the City of Fitchburg. The central segment through downtown Madison is proposed to share 3.4 miles of BRT infrastructure to be built as part of the earlier East-West BRT project.
