The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) proposes to extend LACMTA’s Metro E light rail transit (LRT) line, located in eastern Los Angeles County, through the unincorporated Los Angeles County community of East Los Angeles and the cities of Commerce and Montebello. The Project consists of an approximately 4.7-mile LRT extension from the existing Atlantic/Pomona Station terminus of the Metro E Line to Greenwood Avenue and Washington Boulevard in the City of Montebello.
