This document provides guidelines for creating a Data Management Plan (DMP). These guidelines are based on the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Guidance for Creating Data Management Plans for Extramural Research, along with additional clarification on the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) expectations for DMPs.
