Throughout summer 2021, FTA facilitated a national conversation to highlight how transit agencies have kept transit open during the most significant public health crisis we have ever seen in this country.
FTA gathered ideas from three listening sessions that featured 45 panelists representing transit agencies and stakeholder and advocacy groups. They focused on best practices to renew ridership, safety, community partnerships, and how to build back better.

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration (FTA) today held a National Transit Renewal Summit to summarize the "best of the best" strategies shared by transit agencies, industry partners and advocacy organizations.
