The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) proposes to implement a 13.5-mile bus rapid transit (BRT) service along State Road (SR) 836/Dolphin Expressway, US 41/SR 90/Tamiami Trail/SW 8th Street, and SR 825/NW/SW 137th Avenue. The project is planned to include three stations with level boarding, offboard fare collection, safety and security systems, real-time arrival information, protection from weather, and two park-and-ride facilities along SR-836 at NW 97th and NW 87th Avenues.
