The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), proposes to implement a 15.5-mile bus rapid transit (BRT) line that will connect the College Park MARTA rail station to Southlake Mall in Morrow, with a majority of the line operating in dedicated transit lanes. The project is anticipated to include 13 new, BRT-branded stations featuring offboard fare collection, the purchase of 10 BRT-branded electric buses and associated electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and installation of transit signal priority equipment at key intersections.
