Commentary on the Federal Barriers to Local Housing and Transportation Coordination report by the San Francisco Bay Area Partnership for Sustainable Communities (BAPSC), a group that was formed under the auspices of the Federal Partnership for Sustainable Communities. This document discusses how some of the barriers identified in the 2011 report are being addressed either by local field offices of the federal agencies in Region 9 or by state and regional policies and programs.
