The Transit Award Management System (TrAMS)
TrAMS Overview
The Transit Award Management System (TrAMS) is FTA’s web-based grant management tool that allows recipients to apply for federal funds, manage their programs in accordance with federal requirements, and enable FTA to review, approve, control, and oversee how funds are used.
Operating Status: CLOSED.
TrAMS is closed for FTA’s 2025 fiscal year-end financial reconciliation and financial actions (e.g., funds reservation, grant obligation, award de-obligations) are restricted. Users are still able to use TrAMS for non-financial functions.
What’s New
- On October 1st, FTA recipients responsible for submitting Federal Financial Reports (FFR) in TRAMS will see an enhanced report layout that includes new period of performance fields, new text explanations, validations, and additional information.
