The user guide helps grantees navigate through the TrAMS system which maintains information on each recipient organization, the organization’s compliance with eligibility requirements for awards, and the users within the organization. TrAMS is a web-based tool developed to allow recipients to apply for federal funds, manage their programs and awards in accordance with federal requirements. FTA uses TrAMS to review, approve, control and oversee the distribution of funds.
The User Guide was initially created in FY2016 to coincide with the deployment of TrAMS. The User Guide was recently updated to remove sections which are now reflected in the new FACES User Guide which can be found in the Related Links and on Guidance Page. FTA is working to update the guide to reflect other changes that have since taken place; you are encouraged to sign up for alerts to be advised when new chapters are added.
