Hudson Tunnel Project

The Gateway Development Commission and its partners, as part of the Gateway Program,  are constructing the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), which consists of constructing a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River between New Jersey and New York, refurbishing the existing North River Tunnel (NRT), and preserving the current functionality of the NEC Hudson River rail crossing. The information on this page consists of FTA's oversight reports monitoring MTA's progress with this project.
