Safety and Security (S&S) Event Details
FTA is releasing on a monthly basis the underlying datasets for its NTD Safety & Security (S&S) Time Series files for S&S events occurring in calendar year 2014 and later. Because the time series excludes Major Security Events collected by the NTD for certain services which fall under the safety oversight of the Federal Railroad Administration, FTA is releasing this underlying dataset for these events as well for any interested data user.

2020 Census Changes UZA/Population
This is a table cross-walking Census decennial urban area data from 2010 to 2020 for those urban areas that are "Urbanized Areas" under 49 U.S.C. 5302.

2021 Time Series
The Time Series files present NTD data by year, as far back as achievable, to allow for series and trend analyses. There were no changes to the time series in 202 0other than to add the data from Report Year 2020.
