WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) today announced a total of $1.36 billion in federal funding allocations to 16 new and existing transit projects in the Capital Investment Grants (CIG) Program.
FTA has advanced funding for 22 new CIG projects throughout the nation under this administration since January 20, 2017, totaling approximately $5.06 billion in funding commitments.

The total available amount for a program is based on funding authorized under The Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST) and The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019 (Pub. L. 116-6).
