Summary

In 1986, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) adopted a waiver of its Buy America requirements for the purchase of microcomputers. FTA has been asked to review whether this waiver should be retained, revoked, or modified in light of changes in the computer industry since then. This Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) solicits public comment on this question.
