Performance-Based Planning and Programming Noteworthy Practices Webinar
This webinar scheduled for 2-3:30 p.m. ET Thursday, September 26 will present how three agencies are implementing performance-based planning and transit asset management plans to support agency decision-making and coordination with a metropolitan planning organization to prioritize investments. The webinar follows recent workshops held on performance-based planning hosted by FTA and the Federal Highway Administration.
The webinar will feature presentations from:

- Matthew Helfant, Denver Regional Council of Governments, Denver, CO
- Debbie Swickard, Stark Area Regional Transit Authority, Canton, OH
Presenters will share how their agencies are integrating transit asset management into the metropolitan planning process. They also will highlight noteworthy practices, tips and lessons learned for how they have established successful partnerships and work together in implementing performance based planning. Topics to be covered include establishing written provisions, target setting, and effective strategies for communicating the benefits of performance based planning to stakeholders.
