FTA collects monthly transit service data from Full Urban Reporters (agencies with over 30 Vehicles Operated in Maximum Service (VOMS) or modes operating over Fixed Guideway). These service data include Vehicle Revenue Miles (VRM), Vehicle Revenue Hours (VRH), Unlinked Passenger Trips (UPT), and VOMS. This workbook is designed to support Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), Group Plan Sponsors, and other transit planning agencies involved in Transit Asset Management (TAM). The aggregation component of the tool presents both TAM summary statistics (condition and performance) and aggregated information on asset inventories based on filter selections such as reporter type and TAM tier, as reported to FTA's National Transit Database (NTD).
