Bruce Robinson
Bruce Robinson is the Acting Associate Administrator for FTA’s Office of Budget and Policy. In that role, he oversees a team responsible for policy development, strategic and program planning, program evaluation, budgeting and accounting. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for FTA.
Mr. Robinson is detailed to this role from his position as the Associate Administrator for the Office of Program Management in which he has served since 2019, where he oversees the Office of Transit Programs, the Office of Capital Project Management and the Office of Grants Management and Guidance. Previously he has served as the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Program Management and the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Research, Demonstration and Innovation.
Mr. Robinson joined the Department of Transportation in 1997 within the Office of Acquisition Management of the Federal Highway Administration. He holds a Master of Arts from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
