TransNet Sustainability Plan

Document

At Suburban Transit Network, Inc. (TransNet), the goal is to develop sustainable business practices that meet the needs of the present without compromising the welfare of future generations. By June of 2028, 60% of TransNet's vehicle fleet will be converted to alternative fuel vehicles dramatically reducing consumption of fossil fuel and reducing its carbon footprint. The agency's state-of-the art reservation/scheduling software maximizes operating efficiencies and minimizes paper consumption. Internal recycling policies and promotion of public transit as an alternative method of transportation further contribute to TransNet's "go green" goals and allow consumers to reduce their environmental footprint as well.
