In September 2020, the San Diego Mass Transit System (MTS) Board of Directors adopted MTS’s Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Transition Plan and California Air Resources Board Roll out Plan submission that outlines the transition timeline. The ZEB Transition Plan and Rollout Plan is a commitment to transition MTS’s conventional fleet to a ZEB fleet by 2040.
