In September 2021, Culver City approved its Battery Electric Bus (BEB) Transition Plan, setting a goal for full transition by 2028. The plan outlines near-term requirements for transition, long-term considerations resulting from a move to BEBs, as well as providing a framework for transitioning to a zero emissions transit fleet.
