The Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority Sustainability Vision Plan encompasses current operations and future transit expansions through Project Connect. The Plan outlines a path to achieve net zero carbon by 2040; and sets ambitious goals in zero waste, water conservation, green buildings and sustainable infrastructure, and also supports livable communities. Current strategies include conversion to  zero emission fleets and contracting Green Choice, renewable energy.
