In June 2021, Broward County adopted the 2020 Broward County Climate Change Action Plan (CCAP). The CCAP consists of nearly 125 strategic actions to achieve an 80% greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 2050 and increase the resiliency of Broward County's community to the effects of climate change.
