Alameda Contra Costa County's Climate Action Plan describes several initiatives and measures the agency will undertake to further reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The plan includes goals to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, decrease total GHG emissions from the transit fleet 50% by 2030, and to operate facilities using 100% renewable energy by 2040.
