This provides guidance to FTA grant recipients on how to use FTA funds or FTA-funded real property for joint development — the coordinated development of transit facilities with non-transit commercial and residential projects.

FTA has recently published proposed updated Joint Development Guidance (Circular 7050.1C ). The guidance continues to support flexibility for transit agencies to pursue joint development projects. The updated circular contains a change to fee collection for zero emission vehicle charging equipment. This proposed guidance will supersede Circular 7050.1B, once finalized.
